InRoom Guest gives hospitality properties a new way to tailor in-room content, casting, and guest information to the purpose of each stay.
Most in-room TVs still feel like an afterthought.
They can show channels. Sometimes they can cast. But they usually have very little to do with why a guest is actually there. A wedding group arrives for the weekend. A conference fills a property with attendees who need schedules, dining options, and a quick sense of where to go next. A family checks in looking for an easy, restful stay. The screen is in the room, but it rarely helps with any of that.
That’s the gap we built InRoom Guest to solve.
InRoom Guest is Hypersign.com’s new guest engagement platform for hotels, resorts, and other hospitality properties. It turns the in-room TV into a more useful part of the stay, giving guests easier access to information, entertainment, recommendations, and property services while giving hospitality teams direct control over what appears on screen.
Built around the reason for the stay
A wedding guest, a conference attendee, and a family on vacation do not need the same room-screen experience.
One of the core ideas behind InRoom Guest is intent-based theming, which allows properties to shape the in-room experience around why guests are there. Instead of delivering the same layout and content to every room, hospitality teams can tailor the experience to the type of stay.
That can mean welcome messages, schedules, and amenity recommendations for wedding guests. It can mean event agendas and nearby dining options for conference attendees. It can mean activity ideas for families, or local restaurants, stores, and attractions for guests in town for sporting events or other local gatherings.
The experience can change based on the stay, not just the property.
Hospitality teams stay in control
For hospitality teams, flexibility matters just as much as personalization.
InRoom Guest gives properties direct control over content, design, and connected devices from one centralized platform. Teams can customize how the experience looks, decide what guests see, publish updates, and manage connected devices across individual rooms or multiple properties.
That makes the in-room screen more useful to guests without forcing operators into a fixed template or rigid workflow.
What guests can actually do with it
InRoom Guest brings more of the information guests need during their stay directly to the screen in their room.
Guests can:
- Cast from iOS and Android devices using a QR code, without entering passwords on a shared TV
- Automatically disconnect apps before checkout
- Access more than 450 live TV channels
- View dining information, menus, and property amenities
- Discover local restaurants, attractions, and entertainment
- See content tailored to the purpose of their stay
The goal is not to replace the tools guests already use. It is to make the room itself a more useful starting point.
More ways to highlight property and local offerings
InRoom Guest also gives properties more ways to surface the services and experiences they want guests to know about.
Built into the platform is Hypersign.com’s patent-pending AdEngine, which organizes sponsored content from local businesses, attractions, restaurants, and tourism partners into customizable channels alongside guest-facing content. Properties can also use the platform to promote their own dining, spa services, transportation options, activities, events, upgrades, and other offerings directly on the in-room screen.
For teams that want visibility into what was shown, proof-of-play reporting provides a clearer view of delivered content and campaigns.
In practice, that means the same screen helping a guest decide where to eat can also highlight a property’s restaurant. A local attraction can reach guests who are already looking for something to do. And hospitality teams can put their own services in front of guests at the moment those services are most relevant.
Designed for real hospitality environments
InRoom Guest supports connectivity with Apple, Google, and LG technologies, helping bring familiar connected-device capabilities into the in-room experience.
For us, this launch comes back to a simple idea: the in-room screen should feel connected to the stay.
We have all had the opposite experience. You walk into a room, turn on the TV, and find an interface that has little to do with where you are, why you are there, or what you might want to do next. InRoom Guest was built to make that screen more useful to the people actually staying in the room.
As Neil Willis, Founder and CEO of Hypersign.com, put it:
“We built InRoom Guest because every one of us has stayed in a room with a TV that’s completely disconnected from why we’re actually there, whether it’s a vacation, business trip, conference or wedding.”
Now available
We first introduced InRoom Guest at BITAC Independent 2026 in Phoenix, and it is now available to hotels, resorts, and other hospitality properties worldwide.
